When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, BATIgol FC's Julian Unax got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcos Basso. Pawel Gibowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Peruzzi having to interfere. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulkerim Türköne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ke Xi Sheng advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, BATIgol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Winström to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Jan-Erik Winström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Türköne in the 41st minute of play. Ipswich Traktor Boys were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after BATIgol FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Herbert Holmgren took the corner. The corner ended in Herbert Holmgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi did a great save. The Ipswich Traktor Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Niklas Lundqvist scored 1-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Peruzzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The BATIgol FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ipswich Traktor Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
