Bobby Bear's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izaak Lopez de Toro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Izaak Lopez de Toro made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Hugo Alexandersen sent off a good shot on target. Arnoldo Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matthieu Abelard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Eneto in the 7th minute of play. Club Atlético de Newell's Bobby Bear got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matthieu Abelard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Jay in the 12th minute of play. Olly Nethercot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Izaak Lopez de Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Martial Jay managed to work through Club Atlético de Newell's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Martial Jay dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Izaak Lopez de Toro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matthieu Abelard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Eneto in the 24th minute of play. Matthieu Abelard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Jay in the 28th minute of the match. When Fausto Nazzaro fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético de Newell's protests and gave Fausto Nazzaro a yellow card for diving instead. Fausto Nazzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Club Atlético de Newell's Casey Harban seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Casey Harban the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atlético de Newell protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Casey Harban had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético de Newell:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Club Atlético de Newell:s Matthieu Abelard showed great skill when he stopped Ewan Darnaud:s penalty. Arnoldo Eneto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthieu Abelard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Matthieu Abelard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Eneto's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Martial Jay came free, but Matthieu Abelard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Eneto in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Atlético de Newell's goalkeeper Matthieu Abelard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético de Newell's zone, Arnoldo Eneto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthieu Abelard came out of the goal and Arnoldo Eneto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético de Newell's goalie prevented a goal. If Arnoldo Eneto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Eneto came free, but Matthieu Abelard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martial Jays short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Matthieu Abelard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Eneto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matthieu Abelard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ made a substitution.
