After taking down the ball on AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's corner Ardy Pakubuwono fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arlindo Guedes quite easily take care of the ball. Clemente Cunha made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcos Paulista immediately put the ball in play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Podador Raheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. AF CERRADO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
