In the 11th minute of the match, Herbert Holmgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angel Peruzzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 12th minute The Shadows were awarded a corner. Herbert Holmgren went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Holmgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel Peruzzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th match minute, The Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Llorian came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Simon Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The BATIgol FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2.
