The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Lassaigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 21st minute Saulius Pilipavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Andrej Kramarić sent off a good shot on target. Peter Springer made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Savage Hippo's Aleksander Walec. After some careless play in the Savage Hippo defense, Andrej Kramarić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Arne Askstedt. The Savage Hippo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Arne Askstedt should have stopped the shot. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Kramarić in the 39th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Bengt-Arne Askstedt threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matt Wegener, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute of the match, Matt Wegener tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andrej Kramarić took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Arne Askstedt. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dénes Gera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörg Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Setzinger in the 54th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devran Aktürk in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute Devran Aktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Jörg Wagner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Lekberg. Andrej Kramarić hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Eddie Bjurström came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddie Bjurström couldn't finish the play. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarte Sæverud in the 95th minute of play. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Savage Hippo for a fine match.
