In the 30th minute Xu Wei Kun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Owen Tomaszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gabriel Ikatz made a huge save. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Suy in the 33rd minute of play. Xu Wei Kun made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Savage Hippo's Orestas Mineikis. 36 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Truylos came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Askstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Truylos's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Truylos in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente's Gabriel Ikatz got control of the ball when Vilmantas Magdišauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Gabriel Ikatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Lekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gabriel Ikatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
