Rareș Nicola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 9th match minute, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alajos Belliger to maneuver through the defense. Jindřich Benc kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Goizeder Parserises came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Fire Breathers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goizeder Parserises couldn't finish the play. If Jindřich Benc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Breathers FC's zone, Rareș Nicola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zavier Wagner came out of the goal and Rareș Nicola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goizeder Parserises was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Guo Yu Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavier Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Ander Mees hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Guo Yu Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zavier Wagner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Guo Yu Cheng might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zavier Wagner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guo Yu Cheng ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guo Yu Cheng came free, but Zavier Wagner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goizeder Parserises received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI made a substitution. Gytis Noreika replaced Alajos Belliger.
