The coaching staff of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nelson Messias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 13 minutes into the game, one of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for ACe Aimaro Juniors. Lech Czaplicki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aguirre Verde. 0-1. ACe Aimaro Juniors were furious when Blue Haze was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd minute, one of ACe Aimaro Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ACe Aimaro Juniors. Dido Kardashev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 28th minute. Jerzy Oliszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Dido Kardashev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florentino Dacio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of ACe Aimaro Juniors booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bass Duchateau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Belo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aguirre Verde having to make a save. With a little luck, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde got control of the ball when Jurand Filanowski tried to sneak it across the goal line.
