Teobald Jajko came out of the goal and Ernest Legg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Hermengildo Dalmau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F. C. Solitario's Cláudio-André Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F. C. Solitario's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Dalmau in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspurs getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ahmet Tolga Fidan hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernest Legg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teobald Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Gaitano in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Palma got free with Cláudio-André Taffarel in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tottenham Hotspurs succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though F. C. Solitario had controlled the match.
