DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Davide Rinaldi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde. Aguirre Verde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Baldy hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Herta Budino's Achille Di Crescenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Herta Budino's Aguirre Verde threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Davide Rinaldi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's zone, Davide Rinaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aguirre Verde came out of the goal and Davide Rinaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 17th minute of play. Achille Di Crescenzo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aguirre Verde firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aguirre Verde. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Ben Carlisle hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Aguirre Verde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Aguirre Verde managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco in the 34th minute of play forced Herta Budino's goalkeeper Fortunato Sangermano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berker Sani in the 37th minute of play. Fortunato Sangermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Sani, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Davide Rinaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Rinaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aguirre Verde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Kleanthis Zoumakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Davide Rinaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Rinaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aguirre Verde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 48 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Carlisle came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davide Rinaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Plop in the 59th minute of the match. Aguirre Verde came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi. But to his dismay, Davide Rinaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Aguirre Verde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleanthis Zoumakis in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fábio Grosso was slow to take the kick. During this time Herta Budino's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalie and right to Pedro Velasco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Aguirre Verde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 70th minute of play. Fortunato Sangermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berker Sani, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 76th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Aguirre Verde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Christobal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Fortunato Sangermano made a huge save. Aguirre Verde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aguirre Verde was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Herta Budino made a substitution. Virgílio Furtado replaced Achille Di Crescenzo. Kleanthis Zoumakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguirre Verde having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Sani came free, but Fortunato Sangermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Berker Sani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fortunato Sangermano was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Herta Budino fully deserved thier win.
