The supporters of Tottenham Hotspurs booed when DUBAI Palm Jumeirah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Dalmau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguirre Verde having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Donato Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Jajko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Dalmau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aguirre Verde. Hermengildo Dalmau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Kuzey Sebat made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco however managed to control. In the 34th minute, Tottenham Hotspurs's Hermengildo Dalmau dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Teobald Jajko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Christobal in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berker Sani in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobald Jajko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Dalmau got free with Aguirre Verde in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobald Jajko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Kaur Rännu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berker Sani got free with Teobald Jajko in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Ben Carlisle got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Berker Sani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Jajko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Kaur Rännu came free, but Aguirre Verde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tottenham Hotspurs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Ben Carlisle scored to the left of an out of position Teobald Jajko, making the score, 2-2. Aguirre Verde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Rännu in the 74th minute of play. Kaur Rännu took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aguirre Verde. Aguirre Verde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 78th minute Kaur Rännu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguirre Verde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaur Rännu in the 79th minute of play forced DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Aguirre Verde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes Tottenham Hotspurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kuzey Sebat who took care of the corner kick. Donato Christobal charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Berker Sani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teobald Jajko. That made the score 4-3 after 94 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the DUBAI Palm Jumeirah players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tottenham Hotspurs.
