The corner led Esmeralda AFC's Devidatta Vendetta to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Borcz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 7th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Helge Molander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auktsjaur IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Molander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danijel Subašić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Molander in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danijel Subašić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Borcz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Dalli in the 19th minute of the match. Esmeralda AFC's Devidatta Vendetta got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Auktsjaur IF defense, Eloy Calvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Borcz. The Auktsjaur IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Borcz should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Filiph Ekström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danijel Subašić having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 55th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Auktsjaur IF's Kevin Nilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danijel Subašić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when Auktsjaur IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devidatta Vendetta was slow to take the kick. During this time Esmeralda AFC's players had a chance to rest. Julian Borcz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Devidatta Vendetta in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz got control of the ball when Devidatta Vendetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Helge Molander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Danijel Subašić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Auktsjaur IF's Helge Molander made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danijel Subašić was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Auktsjaur IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Esmeralda AFC for much of the match.
