But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Molander couldn't finish the play. Julian Borcz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Hanschirik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FV Wienerwald's zone, Helge Molander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Mallinger came out of the goal and Helge Molander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kevin Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamilton Carvalhal in the 24th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Molander got free with Marcel Mallinger in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Borcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Auktsjaur IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FV Wienerwald's performance. The match ended with a win for FV Wienerwald.
