In the 18th minute Klaus Adolphi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Mallinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Piearres in the 22nd minute of the match. With a left leg Ximenez Cayuso saved Ekzema F.V. from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ekzema F.V. made a substitution. Timoteo Estevez replaced Lisandro Piearres. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino Alfonsi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Estevez in the 78th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FV Wienerwald fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when FV Wienerwald's Felix Hanschirik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luisinho Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Mallinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ekzema F.V. had won after a very even match.
