Antonín Orlík started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Antonín Orlík came free, but Arvin Hökkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arcadio Buendia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anoush Khalatbari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonah Ryan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arcadio Buendia saved Grosso United from getting behind. American Airlines's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darnell Metcalf in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Antonín Orlík had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arvin Hökkvist. American Airlines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonín Orlík was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rdth minute of the game Antonín Orlík who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arvin Hökkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonín Orlík's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Gartzen in the 28th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Anoush Khalatbari got a free kick in the 30th minute. Antonín Orlík took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvin Hökkvist. Arvin Hökkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arvin Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Xacintu in the 38th minute of the match. Grosso United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fikri Bera in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute of the match Grosso United got a corner. American Airlines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fikri Bera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonah Ryan made a kick off. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Gartzen in the 52nd minute of play. Arvin Hökkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Gartzen in the 60th minute. Arcadio Buendia came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Edwin 雷震南. But to his dismay, Edwin 雷震南 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Metcalf in the 65th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvin Hökkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonín Orlík in the 67th minute. After 75 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Robbin De Brouwer. When Fikri Bera came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Grosso United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikri Bera couldn't finish the play. Anoush Khalatbari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arcadio Buendia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darnell Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Metcalf in the 90th minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anoush Khalatbari took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arcadio Buendia. Arcadio Buendia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Grosso United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grosso United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
