An unexpectedly hard shot by Flóki Cabezudo in the 47th minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

53 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Fredriksson came free, but Pedro Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Osvaldo Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Bernat got free with Toni Schumacher in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stellenbosch's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
