Samuele Neustadt got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Yin Wei Yi. Jarle Volden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Toma Lechev took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benedicto Ireno to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Kjønstad BF defense, Yin Wei Yi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarle Volden. The Kjønstad BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarle Volden should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toma Lechev in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 28th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Samuele Neustadt got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Gaarder in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Ireno saved C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yin Wei Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Abelardo Odon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Toma Lechev. Pedro Luís Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ireno having to interfere. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Anselmo Valiente replaced Jacobo Garin. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Márk Stephen replaced Yin Wei Yi. Jarle Volden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Márk Stephens short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Jarle Volden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Reidar Nordhaug replaced Toma Lechev. The throw-in from Abelardo Odon in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jeremias Felo. A hard shot 84 in the game by Márk Stephen from a close distance when the talented Jarle Volden managed to make a qualified save. Kjønstad BF's players were relieved. 88 minutes into the game, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarle Volden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 91 minutes into the match, Reidar Nordhaug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Ireno. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reidar Nordhaug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
