Philip Drake's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Independiente's Chiquito Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Drake in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente's goalkeeper Chiquito Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjy Benton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Toni Schumacher firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Laurgain in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Philip Drake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquito Martinez. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Drake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Bullen had won after a very even match.
