Ni Jun Sha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha got control of the ball when Gaston Ferman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Pirro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. Brothers of Mercy's attentive Christer Valler managed to snatch the ball when Loukas Botinos made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Melker Bergdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Ángel Torres came out of the goal and Melker Bergdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Alex Axelsson replaced Roger Strömberg. The wind increased when Håkan Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. Tata González sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the LA LUZ F.C. defense, Håkan Lindgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Torres. In the 86thth minute of the game Atilla Açıkalın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 91st minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilla Açıkalın took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ni Jun Sha. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
