A long shot from Braulio Lopes in the 11th minute of play was well struck, but Leonides Leheren made a really good save at the right post. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Chorroarín got a corner. Angua FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prudencio Socorro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gilberto Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Chorroarín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Braulio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladislao Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Mitxaut in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Angua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Mitxaut came free, but Ladislao Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calixto Landoff got free with Leonides Leheren in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Lopes in the 51st minute of the match. Angua FC's Braulio Lopes managed to work through Chorroarín's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Braulio Lopes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eustacio Romero hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Leonides Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Puch in the 54th minute of play. Guillermo Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Mitxaut in the 61st minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Angua FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
