With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Ramalho in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Van Damme saved Papillon AC from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Silvestre Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Andres Ekhi made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Sergio Jerano sent off a good shot on target. If Sergio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 21st minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Zosimo Vadillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi. Andres Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Gerber in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zosimo Vadillo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Vlad Geamănu got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 57th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Roland to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Roland. Andres Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's Benedicto Pacho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Ekhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Timoteo Herrera hit a great ball. Papillon AC's Bai Bang Xiong was substituted for Astor Chinto. Papillon AC made a substitution. Leonides Modestio replaced Sergio Jerano. Timoteo Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Andres Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Modestio in the 78th minute of the match. Eusebio Hori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Van Damme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Papillon AC's zone, Doron Bantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Van Damme came out of the goal and Doron Bantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benedicto Pacho in the 87th minute. Medero Medina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Modestio in the 89th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Andres Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papillon AC's Bai Bang Xiong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Olisadebe, made in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Medero Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Papillon AC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
