Fernando Manzano might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hetem Paloka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Manzano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute Guaberto Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Polonia Division's Bryanne Kinnaird sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Sbârcea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Polonia Division was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erando Palla didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Grandison in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Sbârcea saved Orihuela Club de Fútbol from getting behind. With a little luck, Polonia Division's Hetem Paloka got control of the ball when Fernando Manzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Grandison was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Geovânio Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia Division's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Sbârcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vladimiro Figueira sped through Polonia Division's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hetem Paloka. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Figueira in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hetem Paloka saved Polonia Division from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Vladimiro Figueira sped through Polonia Division's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hetem Paloka. After some careless play in the Polonia Division defense, Atacan Dündaroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hetem Paloka. The Polonia Division fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hetem Paloka should have stopped the shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
