Dorival Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 17th minute Dorival Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Dorival Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pandilla Cobayeril fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Borys Gruchacz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carel Rokeloos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. After 40 played minutes MORPH got a freekick which was hit by Lilo Ramírez. Dorival Alvarenga took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Mambru. Melquiades Mambru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Pandilla Cobayeril were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carel Rokeloos made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Alexander Simbert in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MORPH's Bernt Drake. Dorival Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pandilla Cobayeril made a substitution. Gerardo Rufo replaced Gus Casado. MORPH's Paulo Eguen was substituted for Carel Rokeloos. Bumin Kağan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bumin Kağan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 90th minute of play forced Pandilla Cobayeril's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Gruchacz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
