The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Slipmaskinerna getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Benny Rüdiger hit a great ball. Arlindo Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Peanut Lord made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Deacon. Mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 20th play minutes Peanut Lord shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Marcus Deacon and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peanut Lord in the 23rd minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Idacio Ballejos made a precise shot to the right of Billy Ek. Slipmaskinerna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peanut Lord in the 29th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Slipmaskinerna were awarded a corner. Antonin Laruelle went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Antonin Laruelle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mayo's Marcus Deacon did a great save. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Arlindo Trevisan with Will Porter as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Slipmaskinerna's Antonin Laruelle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Will Porter, made in the 35th minute of the game. Billy Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mayo's Billy Ek threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Idacio Ballejos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Slipmaskinerna's Billy Ek got control of the ball when Steve Oliver tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Peanut Lord notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Mayo's Marcus Deacon. Marcus Deacon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Idacio Ballejos made a kick off. Slipmaskinerna's Billy Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Oliver in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Goren in the 56th minute of play forced Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Billy Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slipmaskinerna's Billy Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Oliver in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Slipmaskinerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peanut Lord to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Oliver in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peanut Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Deacon having to interfere. Marcus Deacon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Magnusson in the 69th minute. Mayo's Patrick Robins was substituted for Will Porter. Mayo made a substitution. William Symons replaced Evelio Goren. 83 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's Per Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Deacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mayo's Marcus Deacon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mayo from getting a goal against them. In the 86thth minute of the game Steve Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slipmaskinerna's Billy Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Nathanial Pitts got a free kick in the 88th minute. Mayo's Harri Kaine was substituted for Idacio Ballejos. Antonin Laruelle might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonin Laruelle ran back to his position shaking his head. The Mayo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Slipmaskinerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Slipmaskinerna.
