Roberto Astudillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Gruchacz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes in the game Jaakob Snow did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Huib Haar. The supporters of CA Trapito booed when Pandilla Cobayeril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pandilla Cobayeril's Borys Gruchacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pandilla Cobayeril from getting a goal against them. Bumin Kağan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Faro. Teofilo Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 18 minutes of play, Pandilla Cobayeril's Bumin Kağan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Faro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borys Gruchacz was a little too slow when Huib Haar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-3. After some careless play in the CA Trapito defense, Bumin Kağan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Faro. The CA Trapito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Faro should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, CA Trapito's goal looked a bit too open when Bumin Kağan came free, but Teofilo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pandilla Cobayeril's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celedonio Iratze in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on Pandilla Cobayeril's corner Celedonio Iratze fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teofilo Faro quite easily take care of the ball. Bumin Kağan scored 1-5 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Faro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bumin Kağan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teofilo Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bumin Kağan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Bumin Kağan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Teofilo Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Pandilla Cobayeril getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rogelio Tuste hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Astudillo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Huib Haar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bumin Kağan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Teofilo Faro made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Pandilla Cobayeril's Rogelio Tuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Christodoulos Kyriakidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro got control of the ball when Bumin Kağan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huib Haar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Bumin Kağan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pandilla Cobayeril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bumin Kağan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, Dorival Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Alvarenga in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Faro saved CA Trapito from getting behind. Pandilla Cobayeril's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celedonio Iratze in the 80th minute. It was a well-played corner which Guto Rocha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro got control of the ball when Dorival Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaakob Snow's late challenge caught a Pandilla Cobayeril's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaakob Snow helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CA Trapito getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jaakob Snow hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Alvarenga in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pandilla Cobayeril walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
