Juan Luis Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Šagáth in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Blas Soter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Luis Carneiro. Blas Soter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Juan Luis Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. FC Kukova's Róbert Behúň proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kukova from getting a goal against them. FC Kukova were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
