In the 6th minute, Mma Clan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Sampler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Mercado Paulista F.C's Dong Xi Xiong in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexandria Team08's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Xi Xiong in the 11th minute of play. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Miulescu in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Dică came free, but Franco Sampler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Xi Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by La Fuente in the 19th minute. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Dică in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Basarab Panciu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mercado Paulista F.C's Franco Sampler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Kılıç Özyuva got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dong Xi Xiong struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Radu Barbălată didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercado Paulista F.C. Franco Sampler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Dică in the 34th minute of play. Radu Barbălată came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercado Paulista F.C's Dong Xi Xiong. But to his dismay, Dong Xi Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dong Xi Xiong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Radu Barbălată tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Miulescu in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg was substituted for Dong Xi Xiong. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the match, Kent Lindberg notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată. Radu Barbălată was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mercado Paulista F.C's Victoriano Escobar was substituted for Ambrosio Ostadar. Alexandria Team08's Doctor Mugg was substituted for Marin Dică. Mercado Paulista F.C's attentive Victoriano Escobar managed to snatch the ball when Kılıç Özyuva made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hasan Turan came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ahmet Hasan Turan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A sloppy throw-in by Aykut Aşkın in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mercado Paulista F.C's Ahmet Hasan Turan. 90 minutes into the match, Kent Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radu Barbălată. Alexandria Team08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. If Kent Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mercado Paulista F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
