With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelino Roldan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Tiadoro in the 18th minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Haroldas Strazdas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Guerra in the 35th minute of play forced Abasto fútbol club's goalkeeper Angelino Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goalkeeper Haroldas Strazdas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hudson Falcão. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Guerra to make the kick off. The supporters of Abasto fútbol club booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar San Juan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldas Strazdas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 81st minute Abasto fútbol club were awarded a corner. Hudson Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. If Alex Burgos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Alex Burgos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldas Strazdas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Abasto fútbol club's Ulises Erasto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldas Strazdas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Dagorret kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Alex Burgos made a precise shot to the right of Haroldas Strazdas. Spartans FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Abasto fútbol club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
