Ni Le Zheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Guerra went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute Cristo Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldas Strazdas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Makaus's late challenge caught a AC Batán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Makaus helped the player get up and apologised. Delmiro Makaus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

AC Batán's Lautaro Martinez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar San Juan in the 53 minute of the game. Hugo Guerra scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ni Le Zheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AC Batán booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Makaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldas Strazdas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Edgar San Juan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Batán's Fabricio Bustos was substituted for Konrad Wielkopolski. In the 79th match minute, Spartans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar San Juan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cido Cardozo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldas Strazdas saved Spartans FC from getting behind. Hugo Guerra struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ni Le Zheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartans FC. AC Batán's Cido Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Makaus kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Cardozo came free, but Haroldas Strazdas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Spartans FC were victorious despite being under pressure from AC Batán for much of the match.
