The audience thought a goal was coming when Janar Taelma got free with Oskar Haeger in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, FC Muuga United's Urbano Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgo Lööper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Dariusz Brudnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Janar Taelma. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janar Taelma to make the kick off. If Laur Pererahu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teet Vahing, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Muuga United's zone, Valentin Dusett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgo Lööper came out of the goal and Valentin Dusett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Di Filippo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgo Lööper. Virgo Lööper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hermanö Oilers were furious when Al Capone was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Muuga United had won after a very even match.
