With a left leg Anton Björnberg saved Inter de Chillán from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimiro Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Ignatius came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Socorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Wu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Vladimiro Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Erserman in the 33rd minute of the match. Vladimiro Socorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Erserman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Inter de Chillán made a substitution. Vatan Enfal replaced Rickard Erserman. Bernabe Lucero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Björnberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. El ultimo's Ramon Ignatius was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Florencio Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Socorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vatan Enfal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save El ultimo from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vatan Enfal. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ignatius in the 69th minute of play. When Bernabe Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the El ultimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Lucero couldn't finish the play. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Wu in the 78th minute of play. When Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El ultimo's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Jax got free with Vladimiro Socorro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Enfal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Socorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
