When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Osvaldo Frutos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vasco Goycochea to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th minute of the match ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ got a corner. Barrio Norte FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Adriano Toscano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 16th minute of the game Kauã Nascimento made a throw-in which Nikolay Dudevski played forward. 23 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Ospetsu. Barrio Norte FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vasco Goycochea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Frutos in the 26th minute of the match. Vitório de Medeiros made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yerko Son immediately put the ball in play. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Juan Luis Potts threw the ball into play from the sideline. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adriano Toscano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Adrianinho Meirelles took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Ospetsu. Valentin Ospetsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vasco Goycochea came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrio Norte FC's Osvaldo Frutos. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Frutos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 39 minutes into the match, Barrio Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Meirelles came free, but Valentin Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ got a corner. Barrio Norte FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 45th match minute, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Toscano to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Frutos made the kick off in the second half. When Adrianinho Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Meirelles couldn't finish the play. Barrio Norte FC's Don Elias was substituted for Yerko Son. Barrio Norte FC's Ofelio Galván was substituted for Osvaldo Frutos. Mai Bin Kuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Ospetsu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Mai Bin Kuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Valentin Ospetsu made a huge save. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlos Bravo in the 75th minute of play. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ made a substitution. Carlos Ancelotti replaced Ronaldo Cosme. After 78 minutes ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitório de Medeiros who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Barrio Norte FC's Vitório de Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Vasco Goycochea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlos Bravo in the 89th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mai Bin Kuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Ospetsu was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The supporters of Barrio Norte FC booed when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Ogrodowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ofelio Galván in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Goycochea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vasco Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ofelio Galván, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
