Tequileros FC's Angel Osoro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Victor Nyström, made in the 14th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ghost Hunters's zone, Edgard Lécuyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jósef Wandzik came out of the goal and Edgard Lécuyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Waclaw Szostak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik didn't even have to move. Willie Waaben kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ayhan Vuralhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Sousa got free with Ayhan Vuralhan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gilbert Lindell hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Camilo Dorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Nils-Åke Alströmer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Magdaleno to make the kick off. Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Lécuyer in the 54th minute of the match. Camilo Dorio made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edgard Magdaleno however managed to control. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Camilo Dorio with Venancio Azeari as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 66th minute Doriva Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayhan Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ghost Hunters fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tequileros FC's Filiberto Bittor was substituted for Venancio Azeari. 77 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Sousa came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Alströmer in the 80th minute of play. The Ghost Hunters fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tequileros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
