Ghost Hunters's Jósef Wandzik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. Doriva Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Sousa in the 5th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henri-Patrick Grocholski hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If M. Agus Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by M. Agus Young. Doriva Sousa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Norberto Tino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghost Hunters. After having played for 25 minutes, M. Agus Young managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but M. Agus Young was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Doriva Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Sousa couldn't finish the play. Norberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ghost Hunters's zone, M. Agus Young stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jósef Wandzik came out of the goal and M. Agus Young tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Sousa in the 35th minute of the match. Victor Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alvaro Llorienzo made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which M. Agus Young however managed to control. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Sousa made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Gilbert Lindell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ghost Hunters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ahmet Gökalp Usal's late challenge caught a Santa Lucia de Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Gökalp Usal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Ahmet Gökalp Usal got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Ahmet Gökalp Usal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. In the 68th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Gökalp Usal to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Doriva Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Tino. The goal made the score 0-2. Norberto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sousa in the 75th minute of play. Jósef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Louis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalie prevented a goal. Norberto Tino made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Doriva Sousa sent off a good shot on target. The Ghost Hunters players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
