Sérgio Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reynaldo Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sérgio Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolas Kafkalas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolas Kafkalas got free with Wieslaw Panasewicz in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Nikolas Kafkalas sent off a good shot on target. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Madaio in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Kafkalas came free, but Wieslaw Panasewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Montrelle in the 23rd minute of the match. FC GURZUN were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Gimnasia y tiro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joakim Andersson took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC GURZUN's corner Angel Patrido fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wieslaw Panasewicz quite easily take care of the ball. Nae Hurmuzache struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Wieslaw Panasewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC GURZUN. 36 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's Reynaldo Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 37th minute of play. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Gimnasia y tiro got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Ubelteso. A hard shot 43 in the game by Nikolas Kafkalas from a close distance when the talented Wieslaw Panasewicz managed to make a qualified save. Gimnasia y tiro's players were relieved. Gimnasia y tiro's Luisito Eguntsenti was substituted for Bernardino Quintin. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Batuhan Modrić made the kick off in the second half. Esben Nordborg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio Vargas firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batuhan Modrić in the 55th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Alexandru Ghionea in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gimnasia y tiro's Luisito Eguntsenti. In the 63rd match minute, Gimnasia y tiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narūnas Baltramaitis to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Ramiro Gago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolas Kafkalas in the 70th minute of the match. FC GURZUN made a substitution. Mihnea Tincu replaced Nikolas Kafkalas. Gimnasia y tiro's Jonatan Euloxu was substituted for Basilio Guillem. After 83rd play minutes Batuhan Modrić shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Sérgio Vargas and just under the crossbar into goal. Ramiro Gago kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. FC GURZUN's Matei Cozmâncă was substituted for Ettore Madaio. Ramiro Gago hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Esben Nordborg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Batuhan Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Gimnasia y tiro got a corner. FC GURZUN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esben Nordborg ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Jonatan Euloxu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC GURZUN. 1-3. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Gimnasia y tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Karatzas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
