Igor Jokin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wieslaw Panasewicz. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y tiro's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Cefero came free, but Wieslaw Panasewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jokin in the 11th minute of play. Gabriel Mónos charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Mónos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Beltxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gabriel Mónos took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wieslaw Panasewicz. Wieslaw Panasewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Igor Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Panasewicz having to interfere. Gimnasia y tiro's Zhuang Fan Jing was substituted for Levent Resulhan. In the 30th match minute, Marno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Butler to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lázaro Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marno F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wieslaw Panasewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldo Beltxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Geleberto's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Mónos in the 42nd minute of play. Wieslaw Panasewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Reynaldo Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Gimnasia y tiro's Reynaldo Montrelle made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Beltxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Gimnasia y tiro were awarded a corner. Esben Nordborg went to the cornerflag to take it. 64 minutes into the match, Marno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Esben Nordborg came free, but Aldo Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gimnasia y tiro! Wieslaw Panasewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Jokin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. James Butler hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Valiente in the 83rd minute of play forced Gimnasia y tiro's goalkeeper Wieslaw Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zeledon Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Valiente in the 91st minute of the match. A hard shot 94 in the game by Zeledon Valiente from a close distance when the talented Wieslaw Panasewicz managed to make a qualified save. Gimnasia y tiro's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Zeledon Valiente put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wieslaw Panasewicz. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia y tiro's zone, Zeledon Valiente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wieslaw Panasewicz came out of the goal and Zeledon Valiente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wieslaw Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Valiente in the 97th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Valiente got free with Wieslaw Panasewicz in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Gimnasia y tiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marno F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
