The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 38thth minute of the game Ilgaz Aydoğan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Matías Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldinho Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lu Bin Yuan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute, Lu Bin Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldinho Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Bierhoff to strike the kick off in the second half.
