Spectators: 7747 (Terracing: 5812, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Tuste in the 4th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Ilgaz Aydoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheng Ling Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Tuste in the 9th minute of play. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Blanco in the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Cristian Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Blanco scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Ilgaz Aydoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Tuste in the 22nd minute of the match. Newells Old Boys's Serafino Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Aydoğan in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes Newells Old Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cheng Ling Yang who took care of the corner kick. After 31 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Wiater. 33 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Blanco came free, but Osvaldinho Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhivko Húntev might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Jurdan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhivko Húntev ran back to his position shaking his head. Newells Old Boys's Serafino Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Aydoğan in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Newells Old Boys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Serafino Jurdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhivko Húntev in the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Silverio Tuste put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldinho Moreno. In the 58th minute Zhivko Húntev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Tuste in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Facopo FBPA got a corner. Newells Old Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheng Ling Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serafino Jurdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhivko Húntev's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Cheng Ling Yang made a great header on Facopo FBPA's corner, it was just that Newells Old Boys's Serafino Jurdan managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Blanco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Osvaldinho Moreno made a huge save. If Silverio Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute Silverio Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilgaz Aydoğan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Jurdan having to make a save. In the 89th minute Zhivko Húntev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Ilgaz Aydoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Facopo FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilgaz Aydoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafino Jurdan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhivko Húntev went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
