With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan got control of the ball when Joachim Anselius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joachim Anselius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Yunus Civan made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Utku İnegöllü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vejbystrand made a substitution. Moisés Queiroga replaced Sonny Karlberg. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Utku İnegöllü got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Agah Özver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙挺卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Vejbystrand's Friedrich Reubold dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 龙挺卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agah Özver in the 21st minute of play. Yunus Civan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Nordlund in the 26th minute of play. 龙挺卫 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duran Ersan in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Friedrich Reubold tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yunus Civan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 31st minute Friedrich Reubold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yunus Civan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Friedrich Reubold showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Guter Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Joachim Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agah Özver might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 龙挺卫. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agah Özver ran back to his position shaking his head. 龙挺卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agah Özver, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan got control of the ball when Friedrich Reubold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Friedrich Reubold struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Yunus Civan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vejbystrand. Vejbystrand's Harald Ennegren was substituted for Friedrich Reubold. Kutluay Özcan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Yunus Civan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Anselius during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 龙挺卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duran Ersan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 龙挺卫 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Bedrettin Özaktuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙挺卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Alejo Otsando took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for 龙挺卫 to make any attempt to save it. Trabzonspor made a substitution. Vacid Oğuzata replaced Duran Ersan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Otsando in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 龙挺卫 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trabzonspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vejbystrand.
