In the 4th minute Monte Susanin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monte Susanin in the 7th minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Ye Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bircan Serdar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Old Boys's Peter Belkå. Peter Belkå was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Monte Susanin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ye Zheng was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ye Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemal Palabıyık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monte Susanin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ye Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwidon Cichocki got free with Peter Belkå in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes of play, Flamenco United's Leandro Teofilio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Belkå was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Old Boys's Florentino Dolfo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mário Trigo in the 47 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The Old Boys made a substitution. Paulino Sayvion replaced Florentino Dolfo. The Old Boys's Oskar Törnblom was substituted for Monte Susanin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yanick Schautens to strike the kick off in the second half. Ye Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Törnblom in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Leandro Teofilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamenco United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cemal Palabıyık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ye Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Yanick Schautens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Old Boys's Peter Belkå was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Yanick Schautens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Belkå was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Camillo Mercuri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Belkå quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peter Belkå stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yanick Schautens's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Oskar Törnblom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ye Zheng. The goal made the score 3-1. 82 minutes into the game, Oskar Törnblom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ye Zheng. Oskar Törnblom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 庄平战 kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Oskar Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Costel Răducanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Old Boys's 庄平战 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ye Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Sayvion, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Old Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 庄平战 in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flamenco United had won after a very even match.
