After 4 played minutes Flamenco United got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Mercuri. Ye Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigue Léonard in the 11th minute of the match. Leandro Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Granata having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Flamenco United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Cichocki to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Granata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Teofilio in the 24th minute of the match. Ye Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Enzo Genta hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Ian Fenomeni's zone, Camillo Mercuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Granata came out of the goal and Camillo Mercuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanick Schautens in the 41st minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Cristiano Granata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yanick Schautens came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Flamenco United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yanick Schautens couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipo Inzaghi in the 45th minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Ye Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Rodrigue Léonard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ye Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Léonard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flamenco United's Ye Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gani Pamirhan in the 64th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Leandro Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ye Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Galeone in the 75th minute of play. A.S. Ian Fenomeni were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Flamenco United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edoardo Galeone took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Enzo Guerrieri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ye Zheng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the game, Costel Răducanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamenco United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Ian Fenomeni the free kick. After 92 played minutes Flamenco United got a freekick which was hit by Costel Răducanu. The A.S. Ian Fenomeni players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
