If Magno Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Aparecido in the 3rd minute of play. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Aparecido in the 17th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Magno Aparecido shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Reko Nybacka and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Carlos Alberto Soares put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitomir Vutov. 25 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Aparecido came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Jaime França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Vutov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, FC Philotimo's Magno Aparecido made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reko Nybacka was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Didiet Suprianto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Aparecido in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Alberto Soares made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov got control of the ball when Walmir Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Philotimo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Walmir Pombal scored to the left of an out of position Vitomir Vutov, making the score, 2-2. FC Philotimo's Luis Barbas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benjamim Alvarenga, made in the 55th minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Fabiano Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Magno Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Magno Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Philotimo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 64th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. FC Philotimo's Alejandro Chorache was substituted for Edgard Donzel. FC Philotimo made a substitution. Tin Delgado replaced Magno Aparecido. Benjamim Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tin Delgado in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Fabiano Maranhense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitomir Vutov. The goal made the score 3-3. 75 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tin Delgado came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Couto. Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tin Delgado in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tin Delgado in the 84th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute FC Philotimo were awarded a corner. Stig-Arne Valler went to the cornerflag to take it. Stig-Arne Valler made a great header on FC Philotimo's corner, it was just that Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka managed to reach the ball for a save. Vitomir Vutov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Maranhense in the 90th minute.
