The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo got control of the ball when Sebati Rafih tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Douglas D Agostino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute of the match, Douglas D Agostino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yoel Quevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wes Nichols hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wallace Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wallace Newman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mircea Rednic hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Wes Nichols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paşa Borlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15th play minutes Douglas D Agostino shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Yoel Quevedo and just under the crossbar into goal. 25 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas D Agostino came free, but Yoel Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas D Agostino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yoel Quevedo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas D Agostino in the 26th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Ricardo Grigore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damian Dean, made in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas D Agostino in the 29th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Paşa Borlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Donnelly in the 32nd minute of play. Yoel Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas D Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Douglas D Agostino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoel Quevedo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Douglas D Agostino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Bateman to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas D Agostino in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoel Quevedo saved Recolta Alamor from getting behind. THE CRYSTAL SHIP were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Recolta Alamor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Borys Dudek took the corner. Ricardo Grigore was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Luca Dănilă was substituted for Douglas D Agostino. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Paşa Borlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save THE CRYSTAL SHIP from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Sebati Rafih made a precise shot to the right of Yoel Quevedo. Recolta Alamor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jerrod Dickinson's late challenge caught a THE CRYSTAL SHIP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerrod Dickinson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrod Dickinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recolta Alamor's Luciano Cronshagen was substituted for Norman Donnelly. After 84 minutes of play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Luca Dănilă made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yoel Quevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Wes Nichols reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paşa Borlu. The goal made the score 4-1. THE CRYSTAL SHIP were furious when Mircea Rednic was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Paşa Borlu, was totally fooled by Recolta Alamor's Emmanuel Pennington, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
