After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Ed Palsma got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Piearres Olalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Piearres Olalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Neubrandt was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 minutes International Thunders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iustin Hațegan who took care of the corner kick. The Underdogs's Emil Kyurpanov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stefan Neubrandt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stefan Neubrandt was a little too slow when Emil Kyurpanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 19th minute of play. International Thunders's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Neubrandt, making the score, 2-0. Jan Wessel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Neubrandt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emil Kyurpanov fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Emil Kyurpanov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of International Thunders booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Kyurpanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piearres Olalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Stefan Neubrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Staikos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd. Dolf Schoonderwoerd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Stefan Neubrandt made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for International Thunders! Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Aktürk in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piearres Olalla to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. International Thunders's Stefan Neubrandt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 57th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes International Thunders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iustin Hațegan who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the International Thunders defense, Dolf Schoonderwoerd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Neubrandt. The International Thunders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Neubrandt should have stopped the shot. The Underdogs made a substitution. Riemer Fries replaced Frank de Boer. International Thunders's Jonathan Soon was substituted for Loukianos Staikos. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Aktürk in the 76th minute of the match. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Neubrandt was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Tibor Bäuschlein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. When Lionel 柯景亦 fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored International Thunders's protests and gave Lionel 柯景亦 a yellow card for diving instead. International Thunders made a substitution. Mario Moser replaced Oskar Vahlberg. In the 86th minute, Lionel 柯景亦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Schoonderwoerd came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Iustin Hațegan went to the cornerflag to take it. Damian Trac scored 7-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Wessel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the International Thunders players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Underdogs.
