Piearres Olalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Yoel Quevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Donnelly in the 19th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Olalla in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yoel Quevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match The Underdogs got a corner. Recolta Alamor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iustin Hațegan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Underdogs's André Luiz Linares to fire away a dangerous shot which Yoel Quevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, André Luiz Linares put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yoel Quevedo. A sloppy throw-in by Theodore Cagle in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Underdogs's Ed Palsma. When The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Recolta Alamor's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piearres Olalla made a kick off. Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yoel Quevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Piearres Olalla took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yoel Quevedo. Yoel Quevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Underdogs's Riemer Fries was substituted for Frank de Boer. Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman managed to work through The Underdogs's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Chris Bateman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Recolta Alamor's Jerrod Dickinson was substituted for Damian Dean. The crowd rose to their feet as Dolf Schoonderwoerd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yoel Quevedo. That made the score 0-5 in the 81 minute of play. Recolta Alamor's Phil Riggs was substituted for Chris Bateman. Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piearres Olalla in the 85th minute of play.
