After some careless play in the International Thunders defense, 袁崇风 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Neubrandt. The International Thunders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Neubrandt should have stopped the shot. Stefan Neubrandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 袁崇风, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Täman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
