Sabino Valverde started the match with the kick off. Loukianos Staikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Idacio having to interfere. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundas Baleika didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ferdinand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marciano Idacio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Tostão Ceresso could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Stefan Neubrandt however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 19th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Kaan Aktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaan Aktürk in the 26th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Aktürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pretorianos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo Gerick was slow to take the kick. During this time International Thunders's players had a chance to rest. 38 minutes into the match, International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Ceresso. Marciano Idacio came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Rodrigo Ferdinand. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Loukianos Staikos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pretorianos FC's Delmiro Berart was substituted for Santos Lauren. After 45 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Loukianos Staikos. 46 minutes into the game, Primitivo Neron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stefan Neubrandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukianos Staikos made a kick off. Lionel 柯景亦 kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaan Aktürk got free with Marciano Idacio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind International Thunders's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pretorianos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Valery in the 59th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Sabino Valverde heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, Sabino Valverde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Neubrandt came out of the goal and Sabino Valverde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Tostão Ceresso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Neubrandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. International Thunders made a substitution. Jonathan Soon replaced Loukianos Staikos. Pretorianos FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after International Thunders's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Valery took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Valery got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Neubrandt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 77 minutes of play, International Thunders's Kaan Aktürk made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Idacio was left in no man's land by his defense there! International Thunders made a substitution. Damian Trac replaced Rodrigo Ferdinand. In the 83rd minute, International Thunders's Oskar Vahlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Idacio. Marciano Idacio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. International Thunders made a substitution. Mario Moser replaced Oskar Vahlberg. 87 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Soon came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Borăscu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Marciano Idacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International Thunders. Delmiro Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stefan Neubrandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The International Thunders supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing International Thunders would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
