Stefan Neubrandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bateman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Bäuschlein in the 23rd minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yoel Quevedo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Kaan Aktürk. But to his dismay, Kaan Aktürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. International Thunders's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Donnelly in the 36th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Yoel Quevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Loukianos Staikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoel Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
