But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Bosch couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind TurboUC's goalkeeper Marino Brunet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Franco Bosch made a precise shot to the right of Marino Brunet. TurboUC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Quirce Lamas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of TurboUC's Marino Brunet. Marino Brunet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Franco Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in TurboUC's zone, Franco Bosch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marino Brunet came out of the goal and Franco Bosch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Golob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Franco Bosch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Franco Bosch put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Marino Brunet. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

52 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Marino Brunet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, TurboUC's Zenaido Davison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermengol Baena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. If Franco Bosch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute of the match ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a corner. TurboUC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cordario Bazarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. 73 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goalkeeper Marino Brunet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Bosch. After 74 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Alifonso Jina. After 76 minutes TurboUC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cordario Bazarra who took care of the corner kick. Rocio Rusoto kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Rocio Rusoto got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►. Franco Bosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Brunet having to interfere. Ermengol Baena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Villamayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Bob Morley got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Clemente Dechent sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermengol Baena skillfully saved the ball. Marino Brunet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marino Brunet was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Franco Bosch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franco Bosch really showed his touch with that goal: 2-8. Marcos Guilisasti charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
