Enzo Cope kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Arūnas Pukelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Tomas Danilevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Danilevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Janpier was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 34th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsrafil Yağız couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Kemal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Todd Gronow made the kick off in the second half. Todd Gronow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gerardo Etxepare came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Etxepare couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Tab hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 64 minutes in the game Sigitas Jakubauskas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eugenijus Gureckas. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsrafil Yağız to maneuver through the defense. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FK Mintis Vilnius had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
